| Fastest install method for Falcon 4 |

If you want to have a fresh Falcon 4 install in a few minutes, there is an
easy way to accomplish this. |
|
| 1. Install
Falcon 4 from CD
|
| 2. Patch
it with the 1.08US Microprose patch |
| 3. Go
to your C:/Microprose/Falcon4 folder or on the partition it is
located and zip the whole Falcon4 folder up with Winzip or
Winrar |
| 4. Burn
it to disk or save on another partition somewhere |

| Next steps: |
| 5. Patch Falcon4
to SP3/4/FF/BMS or whatever you like |
| 6. Again zip up the
whole Falcon4
folder |
| 7. Call the zipped file Falcon4SP3_4_FF_BMS
or whatever is installed,
burn it to disk or save on another partition
somewhere |

| The next time you need a
fresh SP3 install for example, unzip the Falcon4SP3.zip into your Microprose folder
and let it overwrite the old Falcon4 folder. |

| Make sure that you have your
personal files (like your logbook and setting in the C:\MicroProse\Falcon4\config
folder) backed up before overwriting. |
