Normal and wideview cockpit switching is done via Shift-2 or panning up/down. |
| - Reference
and extra functions view via Shift-1 or panning down |

| Display |
| -
The display is made clickable in a 'touchscreen' mode, meaning you can
operate the display by pressing the area that is showing. Clicking on
the center of the display enables the A/A attack grid. |
|
| Kneeboards |
| -
Kneeboards, the right knee has a rampstart checklist. Browsing is done by left and
right clicking, the only downside of these browsable charts is that
they actually are the comms volume switches, so browsing them may
influence your comms volume. Setting it to the AA/AG treath checklist puts it
on maximum volume. |
| - The left
kneeboard shows the kneemap, steerpoint and briefing data |
|
| Reference
and extra functions view |
| -Clicking down
or keycombination Shift-1 shows the view that has extra functions, also
with a clickable display. This
view had many functions, DED, RWR, RWR selection, TACAN, TACAN selection,
Channel digit selection, AUX COMMS switches, digits buttons. Clicking further down pans to the wideview
cockpit. Panning up from this view shows normal cockpit. Panning
sideways shows 4 and 8 o'clock air. |

| Nightlighting |
| -
Flying at night, there are 3 options, one is enabling the instruments
lights on the far right panel in the daytime pit |
| -
The second option is enabling the nightpit for backlit panels. Enabling
the nightpit is done by launching the "Superpits" icon on your
desktop and selecting it. |
| - The third
option is using the Cobra1.exe which has automatic nightpit switching
depending on time of day/night |
|
| -Rampstart |
| -
A full rampstart is possible, checklists on your desktop in PDF format
and on the right knee in the sim. |
|
| -Sound |
| A full range
of sounds is available, 'Nagging Nadia' (Russian Betty equivalent), warning
and lock and hydraulic and engine type of sounds. Easy to uninstall via
the Superpits.exe on the desktop. Note that with the MiG-29 these sounds
get installed as default, so for flying western aircraft disable it. The
Nagging Nadia soundfiles are included with courtesy of the Eagle
Dymanics/TFC (Lock On) A special thanks for that! |

| -Adjusted
and converted avionics for the MiG-29: |
| The warning
station receiver shows when set to ON, when active and when a missile
lock occurs. |
| The use of
afterburner is displayed in the caution lights panel at the right. |
| The use of
flaps and speedbrake is shown in the appropriate indicator. |
| The Fuel
display shows emptied tanks (light indicators) and approximate amount of
fuel in KG |
| Airspeed
instruments, RPM, combined AoA and G force indicator, Gas temperature
correctly calibrated. |

| Known
issues that require exe edits to fix: |
| - Flaps
indicator only show flaps light as partial use when fully extended |
| - Fuel
indicator will show no fuel on left side when carrying more than 5000 kg
fuel but does show it on right side. |
| - Airspeed,
AoA and gas temperature instruments show wrong needle direction when
doing a full rampstart but are ok when engines and avionics are started
up. |
